Our History

Our church began as Midway Baptist Mission Church.  The first service was held in October 1960.  Midway Baptist Mission organized into Brushfork Baptist Church in December 1962, with 20 charter members.

Property was purchased, and work began on a new facility in 1963. With a desire to reach the community and see lives changed through the love of Christ the church continued to see growth.  With the expansion of the church a new activities facility was built in 1976.  Over the course of the last several decades many additions and improvements have been made to the  buildings and property.

These are only tools for us to use to share the love of Christ and spread hope through His salvation.  Today we are thankful to continue to meet at our facility on Old Bramwell Road.  However we are aware the church is not contained within walls of a building, and we desire to continue to reach our community, by engaging them, building genuine relationships, and leading them to the love of Christ.
